Cash on delivery

Cash on delivery is Sworen’s default and is always available. The customer pays the courier; the order counts as money once it is Delivered.

Card payments online

Online payments come from apps:

• CMI: card payments through the Centre Monétique Interbancaire, with 3D Secure.
• Stripe: hosted Stripe Checkout, with full or partial refunds.

To turn one on:

1. Go to Apps in the admin and enable it.
2. Open its page under Apps and enter your credentials.
3. Go to Settings → Payment and enable it at checkout.

Stripe webhook

In your Stripe dashboard, add a webhook endpoint at https://<your store>/api/v1/payments/stripe/webhook for these events: checkout.session.completed, checkout.session.async_payment_succeeded, refund.created, refund.updated and refund.failed. Paste its signing secret (it starts with whsec_) into the Stripe app. Use the same Stripe mode (test or live) as your secret key.

Note

A payment gateway that is down never loses an order: the order is saved first, before Sworen hands the customer to the gateway.
